Jacob told that customer, Madam I do not have strong pants as of now. But I would design and make one for your husband.
When Jacob thought about how to make strong pants for that customer, So they thought of the technology which is used to make railway wagon covers and tents.
They took a heavy blue color fabric and applied proper rivets in the weakened area of the pant so that the pants won't get tear-off.
In this way Blue Jeans are ready and Jacob delivered that pant to the customer.
When that customer's husband wore the pants and used them in his work routine, he was very happy because the pant was durable and strong as well as comfortable also.
And he told this to all his friends that he had a lot of publicity and in this way, the crowd was increased to buy that Blue Jeans.
In this way, Blue jeans are invented from the Jacob Davis tailoring shop.
But it is also important to know how Blue Jeans became a fashion icon so there was a huge contribution of one another person being in this whose name was Levi Strauss.
Levi Strauss: The man who took Blue jeans to the world. Levi Strauss who born in Germany. He migrated to America when he was seventeen years old.
Where he first started textile work with his brother and then after some time he started his own work. He named his company Levi's Strauss and Company.
Jacob Davis who invented the blue jeans often the clothes were bought from Levi Strauss company.

When he saw that pant, he liked that pant very much and they thought of patenting that design with Jacob.
And in 1873 US Patent was awarded in the name of Levi Strauss and Jacob Davis. And gradually, the demand for jeans increased a lot.
Then a big plant was planted name was "Levi Strauss & Company" and the entire production will manufacture from this plant.
